Health
Canada and Industry Canada are the branches of the
Canadian government that regulate all of the products that
are distributed by Puresource.
Canada
has two official languages (English and French) and all
labeling is required to be in both official
languages. General product labeling for all products in
Canada
are regulated by the
Competition Bureau at Industry
Canada.
They are responsible for the
Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act which
outlines all labeling requirements of consumer products in
Canada. Languages are
regulated by the provinces. In Quebec, there are
regulations that require French to have equal prominence
with English label text.
