Consumer Products are regulated by the
Product Safety Programme section of Health
Canada.
Cosmetics require a
cosmetic notification to be completed and sent
to Health Canada within the first 10 days of sale. The

cosmetic labeling in Canada.
Consumer products have labeling requirements dependent on
whether they may have a
chemical, flammability, or
mechanical hazards. Appropriate packaging and
labeling is required for each class of product.
